What is it? The Fence of Humor and Knowledge is a 30 foot tall fence that separates the Tee at the Christensen Golf Academy from the 50 Meter Pool at the Sheridan Swim Club. Signs are attached to the fence. These signs advertise various companies around the Quincy area. Each sign has a famous golf quote printed under the company name. Some of these quotes are profound. Some of them are just plain funny.
How big is each sign? Each professionally produced sign is 2 foot x three foot and plainly visible from the tee. Full color logos and messages are typically placed on each sign along with the famous quotes.
How long does my sign sponsorship last? Sponsorships last for 12 months, and your sponsorship can be renewed if you currently have a sign on the fence.
What do I receive for my sponsorship dollars?
#1 Each sign on the fence entitles the company to three hours of golf instruction with Mark Christensen. These three hours can be split into whatever increments that you want, and can be given to anyone you want. Is there a key executive in the business who loves golf? Do you have a great customer who you’d like to entertain? Are your kids in need of golf lessons? All of these are fair game. Value? Well it’s really priceless, but my normal fee for three hours of instruction is $240.
#2 $200 worth of range credits. Split the credits up in lots of $50 or keep it all for yourself. A 30% discount is also programmed into your range key.
#3 You’ll also receive early registration opportunities for programs at the Christensen Golf Academy and a 30% discount on private lessons with Mark Christensen during the months of April through October in 2010 for one person in your organization.
# 4 Sponsors receive 1 dozen Cabretta Golf Gloves. Retail value $120.
#5 Sponosrs will not be charged for use of the Professional Practice Center @ the Christensen Golf Academy. The total monetary value of the above benefits is in excess of $1600.
How Much is the Sponsorship? The fee for New sponsors is $750. Sponsors who are renewing their spot on the fence will pay a fee of $625.
